Held the third Wednesday of every month at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel at 7:30 a.m. with average of 250 guests. Business Forum - eight months
Held at the Chamber Conference Room. Includes continental breakfast for guests and speaker; sponsor logo in The Bottom Line; sponsor logo and links on Web site; acknowledgment at Business Forum; promotional items provided by the sponsor may be distributed; sponsor banner displayed.

Network with a Purpose Workshop - quarterly

Members of the Ambassador Committee act as facilitators and coaches, providing networking tips especially for new members. Two hour program includes complete buffet breakfast for approximately 40 guests (includes sponsor reps, facilitators, and coaches); sponsor logo on 300 postcard invitations mailed to new members; sponsor logo on portfolio containing reference materials for all guests; banner prominently displayed at event; sponsor promotional items may be distributed at event.

Go Red For Women (FEBRUARY)
Special Business After Hours held at a member restaurant by the riverfront in conjunction with the American Heart Association and the NYS Bridge Authority to kick off Heart Month and the Go Red for Women campaign. Women dignitaries will flip a giant switch to dramatically turn the bridge lights to red and a fireworks display will follow. Acknowledgment of sponsor at event and opportunity to speak; sponsor banner displayed; door prize awarded; promotional items may be distributed at event. Average attendance: 100 guests.

College Shadow Day - “The Real World” (APRIL)
Opportunity for college students (from our local colleges) to associate with invited Chamber members in various areas of business, education, and government. Half day program begins at Contact Breakfast where sponsor will be recognized and concludes with lunch at the associated college. Sponsor recognition in portfolio distributed to each student and mentor; banner displayed at luncheon; sponsor mention on letters of invitation to selected Chamber member executives.

Golf Mentoring Day (MAY)

Includes half-day of golf for two sponsor reps. Reps participate with Chamber members as they mentor 36 students from Poughkeepsie High School at a pre-selected golf course. All sponsors and exhibitors receive an ad in supplement produced by the Poughkeepsie Journal and inserted in their daily paper one week prior to the event, with a distribution of over 44,000. Reverse Drawing (AUGUST)
A pre-determined number of tickets are sold where the winner of the final ticket drawn will win a grand prize (which is also pre-determined). Several members sponsor the grand prize to cover its cost and are recognized through print media and the Internet provided by the Chamber along with opportunities in our “Side Dishes”. All proceeds from the sponsorships and tickets sold go to the Chamber Foundation Scholarship Fund.

Several levels of sponsorships available. Sponsors are recognized in a special supplement inserted in the Poughkeepsie Journal prior to the Awards Brunch in addition to various marketing opportunities provided in our “Side Dishes”.

Cost is $25 for a design fee and $2.00 per postcard printed and mailed with RSVP service.

    Relocation tourism packages are mailed weekly with general information about the Hudson Valley and our Chamber. Individual members provide brochures for inclusion in the packets. A list of names and addresses of recipients is available upon request.
