DCRCOC editorial policy for The Bottom Line and submission guidelines
The purpose of The Bottom Line is to provide news and information to the members of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The Bottom Line is published monthly 12 times a year and strives to publish a full range of articles on Chamber events, member news, profiles of area business and informative practical information on running a business.
We welcome articles from members on general business topics using their areas of expertise. For example, a jeweler might write how to purchase anniversary or incentive gifts for employees, and a publicist might provide tips on getting your business mentioned on television.
Unless otherwise indicated, the opinions and points of view expressed in this publication are those of the individual writers, who are identified by name.
Here are the guidelines for submitting an article:
Submitting articles is limited to DCRCOC members only. You must be a DCRCOC member for more than one year before submitting an article.
You may only submit one article per year, but due to space constraints, we do not guarantee publication of any article.
Your article may be edited for style and/or space.
Whether or not to print the article is up to the DCRCOC and the decision is final.
Please keep your article to no more than 300 words and submit it by e-mail to tammy@DCRCOC.org, in the body of the e-mail. No attachments or photos please. If you do not have access to a computer, you may mail your submission to Editor, Bottom Line, Poughkeepsie Chamber of Commerce, One Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601
