I joined the Chamber to expand my business opportunities and offer my 30 years of mortgage banking experience to the Chamber members, as well as be part of what I thought to be a very organized and aggressive Chamber. Being an ambassador gives me the opportunity to interface with other members on behalf of the Chamber.

I have found that the more you do for the Chamber, the more the Chamber does for you. You cannot join and not attend events. Since I have been very involved with the Chamber, it has opened many windows for my business.

I started my business in 2004 to help indivudals who felt frustrated with their lives or "stuck" in their careers to get clear about what they were after, navigate the necessary changes smoothly, and reach their goals as quickly as possible. It was as a member of the Chamber, however, that I learned that the skills that I had, combined with my experience in the corporate and creative worlds were an unbeatable combination when applied to the needs of today's entrepreneurs. The Chamber has been invaluable to the growth of my business opportunities and, therefore, my ability to be of service. I am thrilled to be a member.

I became passionately interested in nutrition and wellness after doing a nutritional cleanse in February 2007. It changed my life and overall health improved, along with a side benefit of dropping 3 sizes! I joined the Chamber because of the amazing benefits. I loved the free radio spot and being listed in the Bottom Line newsletter. The Chamber has helped me jump start my business and sign up new clients. Going to events is key! I became an ambassador because I love helping new members understad all of the benefits and how to expand their business.

Aspire Consulting works with organizations and the individuals in those organizations to discover and use more of their potential, more often, to produce sustainable improvements in the areas that are important to t hem. Prior to founding Aspire Consulting, I had a 21 years career in health care, working the full continuum in management positions. I joined the ambassadors committee for much the same reason I started my company, I believed I had some skills to offer that would assist the committee, the Chamber, and its businesses. I would encourage everyone to use the ambassadors as an additional resource.

I have been an interior designer for twelve years and established my firm. I met Maureen Cairrl of HVFCU, and she suggested I not only join the Chamber, but become an ambassador. It was one of the best decisions I made early on, and it immediately paid off! I got publicity, met great new resources to service my clients, and began to feel a part of this great business community.

I was born into the marketing profession, specifically promotional merchandise. While we continue in that arena, I am more involved in the direct mail division of the business. I believe strongly in the value of Chamber membership as a service to the community and a benefit to our business.

When I first joined the Chamber, I started making contacts and growing my business. I felt it was time I started giving bac and joined the Ambassador committee. This has been an outstanding opportunity to meet many more people in the business community. I have been active as a facilitator and coach for the Network with a Prupose program. This is the best way for me to give back.

Being a member of the Chamber has realy helped me to establish my business here. I'm new in the area, and the Chamber is the central point for making connections and meeting clients. The "Think Local First" concept really makes a difference. I've been a member of many organizations, and never found one that does so much for it's members, where everyone's priority is helping everyone else build their business.
