Message from the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Manufacturing and Trade Committee:
What’s in a Name?
There’s new and exciting news for the group formerly known as the Manufacturing Committee. They are now known as the Manufacturing and Trade Committee to reflect the many trade organizations are reflected in the Chamber membership. Why the change? This modification will better reflect the many trade organizations that make trade organizations that make up the Chamber’s membership roster. Furthermore, the name change indicates the committee’s objective of integrating businesses in occupational fields such as electrical and plumbing. Including these various groups in the committee will achieve a broader vision and purpose in the future.
